can i file bankruptcy? I dont own a home, or have any assets..i only make like 12k a year..but hospitals keep sending me bills for thousands..and so is credit card company. but my credit limit was only 300 dollars. How can i owe them thousands? does not seem fair, or legal to me.

Do we qualify for Obama’s modification plan? According to the eligibilaty we meet them and all that but the chapter 13 thing we cant get answers to that. We cant refinance thats what got us in this mess. we have a interest only @6.5 loan. Help?
