Do I have a chance of getting into these colleges?

Washington University in St. Louis
Johns Hopkins University
Duke University

Those are my top three colleges right now. I am currently 16 years old and a senior in high school, and I plan to major in biology after I graduate.

Here is what I have to offer so far:

I have been on the Honor Roll in high school for the past three years.
GPA: At my last check, it was at least 3.7 out of 4.0 (weighted) (I am not exactly sure how the weighted GPA is calculated) or ~5.3 – 5.4 out of 6.0 (unweighted)
Rank: ~90 out of ~730 (top 15%)
May 2011 SAT: 710 (Reading) + 710 (Math) + 660 (Writing; 7 out of 12 on the essay) = 2080
June 2011 SAT: 630 (Reading) + 720 (Math) + 680 (Writing; 8 out of 12 on the essay) = 2030

List of AP/Honors courses I have taken (Grade 9 to Grade 11):

English I Honors
World Geography Honors
Biology I Honors

Geometry Honors
Chemistry I Honors
AP World History (I got a 4 on the AP Exam)

Algebra II Honors
Physics I Honors

AP US History (I got a 5 on the AP Exam)
Spanish III Honors

List of AP/Honors courses I am currently taking/will take:

AP Macroeconomics
AP Government
AP Biology
AP Human Geography
AP Spanish IV
Pre-Calculus Honors

Extracurricular Activities:

Red Cross Club (2008)
School Orchestra (2008-2009)
Spanish National Honor Society (2010 to present) – I have volunteered a total of 16 hours for SNHS (not that much, I know).
I have volunteered for a total of over 100 hours through the Youth Exchange & Study (YES) Program with probably at least half of those hours coming from volunteering at my local library.
I have played piano for about 9 years now, and I have taken part in the Houston Music Teachers Association (HMTA) Music Festival (2009) and I have participated in the National Piano Playing Auditions from 2007 to 2009, becoming a Local Member in all three years.
I have also played harp for about 3 years.

I am going to take another SAT and the ACT and the SAT Subject Tests in Biology, Mathematics Level 1, and Spanish with Listening in two months.

While I am not that much worried when it comes to my grades, I am concerned by my rather short and unimpressive list of extracurricular activities. So, with all this, how much of a chance do I have?

Also, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could suggest any other good colleges that I could get into.

  1. Charity says:
study as hard as you can, do extra homework, and strive to do the best that you can. ask questions and get as much help with your school work as much as possible to achieve you college goals.
  2. PE2008 says:
You have essentially no hope of getting into the three universities you list. Your credentials are not competitive.

Don’t waste your undergrad years studying Biology. You will emerge with a degree qualifying you for nothing except cleaning lab rat cages.
