    Given the complications and difficulties of filing bankruptcy under the new laws, and the emotional upheaval involved in bankruptcy, it is not advisable to try to do this without an attorney even though it is possible.

    Yes, but you need to find out the proper forms to fill out (which you will probably have to buy), and where to file them. You can find this info online.
