A credit rating only matters if you want to borrow money again. fuck that…pay cash and credit does not matter.

Money and Credit are illusionary concepts created to keep us in mental prison, Credit still matters though. Unfortunately I have had my battles, struggled for months trying to get my credit score to respectability. Worst time spent EVER.

I was tired with the battle, but my friend recommended a company that did all the leg work for him, and all they charged me was $40/year.

Give them a call if you got credit problems, They are AWESOME

@goodgirlsguide Yep, Kiyosaki is a fraud. Filing bankruptcy isn’t for everyone, but it DOES beat consumer credit counseling!!

@skylarportland – oh dear – but I do know how you feel. I’ll health occuring at the wrong time, can seriously throw a spanner in the works of anyone who previously build years of good credit and savings. I experienced it myself, and turmoil followed in everyway, just three months after being made redundant and buying a second home. Normally a cautious person, I listened to Robert T Kiyosaki, I took a risk I wasn’t prepared to handle.

… Did you know that even as a BANKRUPT, you can still set up a new business as a Network Marketer /MLM, because as they are small investments to join, and they don’t check your credit. Set a limit of how much money and time you will spend marketing and stick to it. you can research companies on the direct Selling Association website.

I know people who filed chapt 7 and in two years were in the 700′s .

@baigandine negative items stay on for 7 years, a bankruptcy stays on for 10 years. after maybe 3 years or so, these kinds of notations won’t mean all that much–it depends on who is being asked for credit.

Somehow I don’t have any sympathy for people that buy expensive stuff that they can’t afford and then end up going bankrupt. Live within your means and you will avoid all this hassle and embarrassment.

Thanks Very Much!!!! You are a True Angel.
  17. baigandine says:
Doesn’t negative info only stay on there 7 years? So if you do it when you’re young, it won’t hound your old age.

tel you bankruptsy is very smart ok and yes I think we may have big troubles in 2012
  19. skylarportland says:
Absolutely! I just filed 4 days ago actually. While it will take a few yrs for your credit to be repaired, you can always re-build it beginning immediately. Just make sure you get a *secured* card preferably through a credit union–NOT a bank–but a credit union, keep current with payments on it for 12-15 months where you can then apply for a non-secured card.

Bankruptcy does stay on your credit for 10 yrs, but multiply your payments you have now, can you afford that for 10 yrs each month?

im thinking of filing bankruptcy.. so ur saying even after trying to repair it doesnt work, my uncle says i need to do it immediately.. he said I will be better off..? is this true?
  21. SwEeTExP0SuRe says:
why do you believe we are all dead in 2 years?
  22. SwEeTExP0SuRe says:
    lol
  23. skylarportland says:
LOL SO, SO, SO SO true!!!

NOT filing bankruptcy was the worst thing I didn’t do 4 1/2 yrs ago. Have paid over $16k in past debt only to be in just the shambles of credit rating that I was then–even when I was never late in the last 4 1/2 yrs paying that down. Now, I need surgery, and dental work, and have issues going with my only car to go along with no job, nope, I’m filing bankruptcy just as soon as my surgery is done.

We are all dead in 2 years…so who cares….?
Whole Banking system is one Giant Scam I hope 2012 comes and wastes this way of life..!
  25. thegirl44 says:
I claimed personal bankruptcy at 19 to get out of a dodgy recording contract. My credit score was back in the 700′s in less than 2 years.
It’s not a big deal if you claim bankruptcy to anyone but your current creditors, which is why “independant” finance officers are paid incentives by your bank to try to “work with your bank”.
