    who knows? you have not provided any details to work with?

    if your filing and going to ruin your credit anyway, chapt 7 is better. good luck getting it though with the new laws that do everything for the credit card companies and little for the consumer.

    it can be a good solution if you don’t have any other options, but if you still have some kind of income coming into the home you can go to the court and reconcile your debts. This will get rid of a lot of the finance charges and will get the creditors to quit calling you. Plus this will only stay on your credit score for 7 years vs. the 10 a bankruptcy does. Hope this helps

    Bankruptcy should be the absolute last resort. This will kill you for a very long time. If you have debt to work through, do it. See or read Daves book The Total Money Makeover for advice. It has really helped my family work through some tough issues.
