Megadeth – Foreclosure of a Dream (With Lyrics)

Megadeth – Foreclosure of a Dream Lyrics: Rise so high, yet so far to fall A plan of dignity and balance for all Political breakthrough, euphoria’s high More borrowed money, more borrowed time Backed in a corner, caught up in the race Means to an end ended in disgrace Perspective is lost in the spirit of the chase Chorus Foreclosure of a dream Those visions never seen Until all is lost Personal Holocaust Foreclosure of a dream Barren land that once filled a need Are worthless now, dead without a deed Slipping away from an iron grip Nature’s scales are forced to tip The heartland cries, loss of all pride To leave ain’t believing, so try and be tried Insufficient funds, insanity and suicide Foreclosure of a dream Those visions never seen Until all is lost Personal Holocaust Foreclosure of a dream Solo – Dave Now with new hope some will be proud This is no hoax, no one pushed out Receive a reprieve and be a pioneer Break new ground of a new frontier New ideas will surely get by No deed, or dividend. Some may ask “Why?” You’ll find the solution, the answers in the sky Solo – Marty Rise so high, yet so far to fall A plan of dignity and balance for all Political breakthrough, euphoria’s high More borrowed money, more borrowed time Foreclosure of a dream Those visions never seen Until all is lost Personal Holocaust Foreclosure of a dream Holocaust

This songs reminds me of Greece. How in history we were first to many things. We had vision. We had fighters. We had great politicians that led the country through difficult years. Revolutions and fights that we won. We had all the means to be a great country in the future(present). But that was just a dream. A Dream that have been foreclosed now.
    Greetings from Greece

@AnamariaOcampo99 I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT JUSTOUT BIEBER & SHEMALE GAGA ARE MUSICIANS,
  3. GoongalaGoongala says:
@AnamariaOcampo99 Anybody listening to Gaga and Bieber won’t be listening to Megadeth, therefor they won’t be seeing your comment. And BTW, this album is just about as mainstream as MegaDave got outside of the Risk album., So they could very well have heard some CtE or Youthanasia era Megadeth. Maybe it wasn’t for them. Metal ain’t for everybody.
  4. AnamariaOcampo99 says:
@pizzaslicepwnu well, if you wanna look at it that way

  8. SleepingPeace says:
@juguLAtoR01 lol I never said there is no difference. I said that it didn’t ruin the original because the original still sounds the same as it always did, regardless if there’s a remastered version. All I can tell you is that if you can’t find the original in stores than download it and burn it yourself.
  9. juguLAtoR01 says:
@SleepingPeace if you can’t hear any difference, then there’s no point in arguing with you. I listen to the original, but the problem is that i simply can’t find it in stores anymore, only the remastered [and therefore ruined =) ] version.
  10. SleepingPeace says:
@sm0kinstrat Dave knew everything that’s happening before it happened.
  11. SleepingPeace says:
@juguLAtoR01 lol, how did it ruin the original? Not like the original was affected in any way. Just continue listening to the original if you like it better.
  12. juguLAtoR01 says:
I HATE THE REMASTER OF THIS ALBUM. IT COMPLETELY RUINED A PERFECT MIX AND MASTER, FROM THE ORIGINAL RELEASE… =(

I love Nick’s snare sound on this entire album! This is by far Megadeth’s best record to date!!
  22. jimemtp says:
Funny thing is, almost 20 years later this song is still relevant. Sad.
  23. StopMotionHeadBanger says:
somehow megadeth has found the formula to sound commercial yet still be as heavy has hell HOW DO THEY DO IT????
  24. DaveWreckingCrew says:
@LordAkaneon The bad news is Dave doesn’t vote.
  25. LordAkaneon says:
@DaveWreckingCrew The good news is that the H.W. Bush cabinet only had a grand total of like 30 members. So, 30 dislikes is the max potential of this video.
