It was quite a line up at Leone’s Music World on Dougall Ave. The store, put into receivership in September, opened it’s doors at 10am for a blow out sale. Prices were supposed to be between 40 – 70% off. Everything is being sold, bringing to an end, a family business that opened in 1962. Plagued by allegations of poor customer service, inflated prices and Carl Leone’s conviction of aggravated sexual assault, the business faltered and eventually failed. Uchumi supermarket has officially come out of receivership making history as one of the few companies to revert to its original owners from a virtual bankruptcy.
