What are the options for teachers looking for debt relief or loan forgiveness?

I am a young teacher (2nd year) who teaches at an urban school in San Diego, and I am struggling with my debt on my meager teachers salary. What are my options for relief?

    Hey Scott,

    What are the interest rates on your debt? Try consolidating your debt if you have many debts at high interest rates. Consolidation through peer-to-peer loans is heavily advertised as a solution. You can also try working a second job.

    Many people I know have sold off all their non-necessities and picked up a second job in order to pay off debts. Do not worry, you are not alone.
